Wei Jianming climbs, chasing the most beautiful view. Each summit promises more—but will the top finally satisfy him?
魏建明很喜欢爬山。今天天气好，他要爬一座大山。他说：“我要找最好看的风景！”他背着包上山了。
Wei Jianming loves hiking. The weather is nice today, and he's going to climb a big mountain. He says, "I'm going to find the most beautiful view!" With his backpack on, he sets off up the mountain.
走了一会儿，他看到一个观景台，停下来看了一下。山下有很多绿树，还有一条小河。他说：“真好看！”但他想，上面可能更好看。
After walking for a while, he sees a viewing platform and stops to take a look. Down below there are lots of green trees and a little river. He says, "So beautiful!" But he thinks it might be even more beautiful higher up.
他又往上走，看到第二个观景台，停下来看了一下。这里能看得很远，远处还有一个小村子。他说：“真好看！”可是他想，上面会更好看。
He keeps going up and comes to a second viewing platform, where he stops to take a look. From here he can see a long way, and in the distance there is a small village. He says, "So beautiful!" But he thinks it will be even more beautiful higher up.
魏建明爬了很久，有点儿累了。他喝了点儿水，休息了一会儿，看着山顶说：“我要爬到山顶！那里一定最好看！”他又往上走了。
Wei Jianming has been climbing for a long time, and he is a little tired. He drinks some water, rests for a while, and says, looking up at the summit, "I'm going to climb to the top! It must be the most beautiful up there!" Then he heads up again.
最后，他到了山顶！从这里能看到蓝天、白云、绿树，还有山下那个小村子。他高兴地说：“这里最好看！”然后坐下来休息。
At last, he reaches the summit! From here he can see blue sky, white clouds, green trees, and that little village far below. He says happily, "It's most beautiful here!" Then he sits down to rest.
