Xiaomei wants to borrow the best book in the library. But with so many wonderful choices, how will she ever pick just one?
林小美很喜欢看书。今天她要去图书馆借书。她想：“我要借一本最好的书！”她高兴地出门了。
Lin Xiaomei loves reading. Today she is going to the library to borrow a book. She thinks: “I want to borrow the very best book!” She happily heads out the door.
她走进图书馆。书架上有很多书，有的大，有的小，有的写动物，有的写旅游。她说：“真好！每一本我都要看一下。”
She walks into the library. There are lots of books on the shelves: some big, some small, some about animals, some about travel. She says: “How wonderful! I want to take a look at every single one.”
她拿起一本写动物的书，看了一下，说：“真有意思！”她又拿起一本写旅游的书，说：“真漂亮！”她一本一本地看，每本都很好看。
She picks up a book about animals, takes a quick look and says: “How interesting!” Then she picks up a book about travel and says: “How beautiful!” She looks through them one by one, and every one of them is good.
小美看了很多书，可是她只想借一本。她想：“哪本最好呢？”她又看了一下那本写动物的书，心里说：“我最喜欢动物，就是它了！”
Xiaomei has looked at lots of books, but she only wants to borrow one. She thinks: “Which one is the best?” She takes one more look at the book about animals and says to herself: “I love animals most of all. This is the one!”
林小美走到借书的地方，放下书，对工作人员说：“我要借这本，这是最好的书！”她拿着书走出了图书馆，想快点回家看。
Lin Xiaomei walks to the checkout desk, puts the book down and says to the librarian: “I'd like to borrow this one. It's the best book!” She walks out of the library holding the book, eager to get home and read it.
